Placing a Pet or Stray

Do you need to find a home for your pet or a stray? Please do not relinquish him or her to a shelter. Shelters are overwhelmed with homeless animals. Let us help you place him/her in a loving new family. Here is a vast array of resources to help you:

  • Petfinder.com - A great resource for the care of homeless animals. You can place an ad, view current ads or search a database to find a pet that is right for you.
  • Alleycat.org - The National Feral Cat Resource, Alley Cat Allies.
  • Bestfriends.org - The home page of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the nation's largest no-kill shelter for formerly abused and abandoned pets.
  • Neuteryourpet.org - Friends For Responsible Pet Care. A group dedicated to ending pet overpopulation and abuse. Great site to find animal rescues for specific breeds as well as detailed information on spaying and neutering your pet.
  • Wonderpuppy.net - Often people feel they must give up their pets for various reasons. On these pages, you'll hopefully find some alternatives and be able to keep your animal.
