Ewey was a rescue from the Philadelphia SPCA when she was found during the December snow storm, very pregnant and without a home. They contacted us to see if we had room at the inn for a homeless pregnant girl and we just had to make room. Ewey gave birth New Year's Day to six beautiful pups who will be ready for their own homes in late February. Ewey will be ready for her own home in mid February. She is a sweetheart who loves to be loved. She knows some basic commands and she has done well with housetraining. Her favorite spot is on your lap and laying next to you. She is very friendly to everyone she meets. She does well with other dogs but doesn't have much interest in playing with them (at least yet). Ewey will need to be altered in late March, early April once her body has regained it's pre-birth hormone levels. If you are interested in meeting Ewey please submit an adoption application: www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
